Each year on November 11th we take time to reflect and remember the end of World War I and the dedication of the many Veterans who served our country. This year, we invite you to visit your neighbourhood Sifton Retirement Residence between November 4th – November 11th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Each Sifton Residence will have coffee, tea and cookies set up in the lobby to celebrate Veterans week. Visitors are welcome to sign a paper poppy and we will donate $5 to the War Amps CHAMP Program in your honour!
Remembrance Day Events and Services:

Remembrance Day Service for Longworth residents
A lunch for veterans will be held after the service. A display of different pictures, medals, war memorabilia, art, and any related material, which will complement the day. The display will be setup one week prior to the ceremony.
