Congratulations! You’ve opened a brand-new space at West 5. What drew you and your business to open your location in this exciting west London community?

“We’ve eagerly awaited the opportunity to join the London, Ontario market, and now we’re thrilled to be a part of it. We’re particularly drawn to the vision unfolding at West 5. Sifton’s commitment to crafting a walkable, tech-forward, and people-centric neighborhood resonates with our own goals. Our aim is to enhance the lives of residents by bringing convenience right to their doorstep. In this community, which currently boasts around 500 rentals and condominiums, along with numerous office workers and visitors, we see a chance to provide a much-needed amenity. And with plans for future growth, potentially adding up to 2,000 more units, we’re excited to grow alongside this vibrant project.”

Custom space design and building can be quite an experience. Can you describe your experience in designing your new business here?

“In our line of work, navigating the intricacies of a retail space can pose various challenges. These may range from the placement of doors and storm drains to the arrangement of electrical equipment. When assessing a space, our goal is to optimize the retail area and enrich the customer experience by offering a diverse range of products and ensuring a smooth flow throughout their journey, from entering the store to completing their transaction and leaving. Fortunately, Sifton has provided us with a well-organized space, with essential services discretely positioned at the back and linked to the commercial corridor. This layout simplifies the process of refining our floor plan to best suit our needs.”
