What drew you and your restaurant to open your second location in West 5?
“We had been looking for quite a while to open a second location. After looking at several different locations we came across West 5 and thought it would be the perfect spot for us. Looking at the area in the last couple of years, it is amazing how much it has grown and there is not any other restaurant similar to ours in the area.”
Can you describe your experience designing and building a custom restaurant space with Sifton?
“The design of the space was an interesting challenge. It’s a large space, but as we slowly added everything that we needed it seemed to get smaller. We took the lead on the kitchen design and bar layout, and the rest of the restaurant was designed around those key features.”
How do you feel your experience in the restaurant industry will add value to West 5?
“Joe has over 30 years’ experience in the fine dining industry and is well known in the city. Along with that, our relaxed but professional way of offering fine dining will make our clientele feel welcome and part of our family. At gNosh West, our inviting atmosphere will feel like an extension of home for the West 5 community to enjoy.”
In choosing West 5 for your business, how has Sifton supported you in establishing a trusting relationship?
“Joe and I couldn’t be any happier with our choice of Sifton as our landlord, or should we say “partner”. There were some bumps in the road due to ongoing supply-chain issues, but the entire Sifton team was always there to help and get things done as soon as possible. We are looking forward to many successful years at gNosh West, and with Sifton on our team we know that will happen!”
