The United Way Fundraising Committee is delighted to share that Sifton Properties and the Sifton Family Foundation have generously donated $120,000 to support the United Way Elgin Middlesex, Brant United Way, United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin, and United Way Greater Toronto (Peel).
This impressive sum comprises employee payroll contributions, proceeds from special events organized by our dedicated United Way site ambassadors, and matching contributions from the Sifton Family Foundation. This year, we introduced new initiatives such as the survivor gift card and united we stretch, alongside the return of beloved classics like the treat trolley and quarter auction. Additionally, we witnessed heartwarming gestures such as 350 holiday candy grams exchanged among employees, highlighting the strong bonds within our organization.
On February 28th, the Sifton Head Office team united to present the outstanding results to our United Way partners, who were deeply moved by Sifton’s exceptional performance in the 2023/24 campaign. Their collective generosity not only met but exceeded our fundraising goal of $110,000.
