Keeping our priorities at the forefront of what we do

For generations, the Sifton family has put their hearts into building communities where people feel connected and cared for. With more than a century of experience, we’ve learned that every community, home, and workspace is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

That understanding continues to guide us as we create spaces that reflect the way people live, work, and grow together.

About Sifton

Sifton is a family-owned organization that treats employees and customers like family, recognizing staff through rewards and milestones, and building customer relationships with personalized welcomes and community events.

We celebrate customer milestones, inspiring innovation and confidence as we shape Ontario’s skylines. By designing neighbourhoods with diverse elements like shops, schools, and parks we foster strong communities and meaningful connections.

Our future-focused approach ensures lasting community benefits through sustainable design, advanced technology, and carbon-reducing solutions. By integrating greenspaces and trails, including Ontario’s first net-zero community, West 5, we support active living for generations.

Community generosity is central to Sifton’s values. We support our communities and encourage employee involvement, focusing on enriching the lives of children, youth, and families while strengthening the cities we serve with pride.

Our mission

For over thirty-five years, the Sifton Family Foundation has been a vehicle through which Sifton enhances the lives of those in our communities. The Foundation is committed to enhancing the lives of people in need, especially children, youth and their families, as well as persons with disabilities and seniors.

In addition to community grants, the Sifton Family Foundation supports Sifton employees by giving back to charitable causes they care about. An employee donation matching program provides employees the opportunity to maximize the impact of their donations to charitable causes of their choice.
