Sifton Properties is Building A Legacy

On May 18th, 2022, Sifton Properties Limited hosted an experiential unveiling of the next phase of Legacy Square in the West 5 neighbourhood, including a glimpse of the final plans for our central park. Guests enjoyed speeches about our upcoming construction plans directly from the Sifton leadership team and city officials while enjoying delicious treats, special gifts and live entertainment.

Once completed, the 1.6-acre park will be the central hub of the West 5 neighbourhood, and will be home to recreation programs, special events, and seasonal activities. It will be the heartbeat of the community, which will also include over 2,000 residential units, 250,000 square feet of commercial space, and 100,000 square feet of office space. The West 5 neighbourhood is Ontario’s most sustainable community, and is the most innovative project in the history of Sifton Properties.

“We couldn’t be more excited to break ground on the next phase of West 5. The central park is an invaluable element of Ontario’s first net zero neighbourhood. It’s where our residents and tenants can connect, explore, and engage with one another to foster the feeling of community.”

Richard Sifton, President & CEO of Sifton Properties Limited

In addition to the unveiling of the Legacy Square, details about the two newest buildings to be constructed on the 70-acre land development project – a six storey apartment building, as well as an eight-storey condominium, both breaking ground shortly were shared with guests. The neighbourhood is already home to a collection of townhomes, Helio apartments, Riverstone retiree apartments and growing office and retail spaces.

The Sifton team was thrilled to unveil plans that will not only enhance the West 5 lifestyle, but become an entertainment hub and destination for all Londoners. To learn more about Legacy Square, please visit https://west5.ca/play/legacy-square.
